Cosa resta dell’infinito?

Francesco Pedrini
Event Type
Projection of the artist video

The Fondazione Galleria Milano is pleased to present, on Friday, May 16 at 6:00 PM, on the occasion of the ongoing exhibition Oracle by Francesco Pedrini, the artist film What Remains of the Infinite? (12’), directed by Francesco Pedrini in December 2022. The screening will take place in the archive space.

Following the screening, there will be a conversation between the artist, Alessandra Pioselli and Nicola Ricciardi; moderated by Bianca Trevisan.

The audiovisual work, created as part of the arte@parte program — supported by the Regione Basilicata and curated by the ArtePollino Association — was produced during a residency in San Severino Lucano, in the Pollino National Park.

It tells the story of a journey through the landscape — a rhythmic sequence of places and people who share a minimal yet powerful encounter. The silence of unspoiled nature meets the sound of musical instruments, immersing the viewer in a vibrant and sublime landscape.

Alongside the film screening, and as a completion of the Oracle exhibition, five new acrylic paintings with pastel interventions on paper will be presented.

The exhibition, including the video, will remain open until the end of June.
